It was minutes before midnight and remembered that I had not photographed anything so at the last minute this was my result.

Day 54

These are sample prints that I have worked on for the American History Museum which is adding a new gallery for The First Ladies Exhibition. This gallery will include watercolor sketches of 14 gowns. The original portraits are in our museum but which can not be used for display so these are photographs that were taken years ago with bad lighting and stuff. My job was to try to make the background color for each very similar and uniform because they all had slightly different background colors. The main problem was that when these photos were taken it caused a shadow around the edges of each photographed so I had to try eliminate the dark edges the best I could. It's possible to eliminate it and make it all one color but we have no time to be doing all that. Once this is done, they will be printed on textured paper, laminated and framed and put on the wall for display.

This exhibition will go on display March 10, 2010 along with Michelle Obama's inaugural gown. One of these days she will stop by and donate her dress to Smithsonian to be put on display.

So Sunday while I worked, I've been drinking water because I had a rough night the night before. Working with a hangover is not a good idea.

Happy 21st Birthday Kenia!. February 19th was her birthday and Saturday we went out and celebrated. She does not remember half the night.

Chick-fil-a

Hassan enjoying every bite of his food. It was his first time ever eating Chick-fil-a. We have been trying to go for several weeks but the snow storm stopped us from going until this past Friday. From now on, we will go every Friday.

On Thursday Jesse's best friend Zeke came to stay for the weekend. His owner went out of town.

On wednesday we had guest over the house and they brought this chihuahua and I got slobbered by Sammy. We had to hide Sammy from Jesse or else Sammy would have been Jesse's dinner.

Normally I wake up with Jesse on my bed. This morning she left me for this big fluffy bear.

She went out to run around in the snow and as she was jumping off 3+ ft of snow, she did not land correctly and injured her front leg.

My new bed/room for the time being. I sleep in the basement and I'm always freezing so I decided to sleep upstairs. Also sleeping here cause I'm sick of being snowed in and being in my room all the time. Just needed a change :)

So for the days I've been snowed in, I've made my own bed since I'm sick of my room already. This is where I've spent most of my days laying down with Jesse.

I stepped out to by backyard and saw these tiny footprints on the ground. I wonder what animal this was.

So I woke up to all this snow. Snowed in so Jesse and I made our own bed on the floor while I watched TV.

The car is buried in all that snow. Later that night, we start digging it out.

Jesse looked like she was swimming in 25"+ of snow. She enjoyed every moment including getting on top of me so she won't sink in the snow haha.

Tuesday night I went to a friends house to watch the season premier of LOST. After it finished I ended up playing with their cat Hermoine. I'm allergic to cats but I couldn't help it. She's just so cute.
